AO, the acclaimed restaurant from Simon’s son, Daniel Rogan, is reopening this November in a new location on Oxford Street, Southampton. After earning recognition from the Michelin Guide and winning both Best Newcomer and Best Restaurant in Hampshire following its 2022 debut, AO is embarking on an exciting new chapter. Daniel and his team have been working hard behind the scenes to create a new menu which promises to showcase precision, creativity and seasonality.

Daniel's journey to opening his own restaurant began in the kitchens of L'Enclume and Rogan & Co, before honing his skills at some of the UK's most prestigious kitchens, including Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley and the three Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. His talent and leadership have been recognised on a national level with The Staff Canteen’s One to Watch in 2023 award, being named Great Hampshire Menu Champion, and being shortlisted among the top three chefs in the UK in the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards 2024 in the Best Chef category.

Reservations for AO's return are now open, and we couldn't be more excited to see what Daniel has in store for Southampton's diners.
